The Princeton campus appears in reality — and in the imagination — across the media. Some scenes from the 2013 film "Admission" were shot on campus, and students were invited to the premiere of the movie in town. Photo: Danielle AlioFilming on the Princeton University campus is almost old as movie technology itself: In June 1899, the American Mutoscope and Biograph Company first recorded Princeton's football team in action. The earliest newsreel footage in the Princeton archives shows the campus in the 1910s, and since then, miles of film and videotape (and now innumerable digital files) have recorded campus architecture and events.
